Cosmetics, or separately called as make-up, skin care products, and hair care products, are chemical substances that come in different packages which are mainly used to beautify the overall presentation of a woman. What comprise this group are substances that can be used to improve the face, the skin, and the hair. Lips gloss, sunscreen, and hair wax are some examples that belong to each of the areas involved in cosmetics.
Make-up is used to add color and life to a woman’s face which is temporary and can be easily washed away by water. Lipstick, foundation, press powder, mascara, eye liner, concealer, blusher, and eye shadow are some examples of make-up that are staple to a woman’s make-up kit. Since make-up substances are usually water-based, it is important for a woman to always have her make-up kit close at hand in case she needs to make a retouch.
Skin care products include substances that enhance and protect the skin. These products include lotion, body cream, body wash, sunscreen, and nail polish which all share in the objectives of improving skin quality and shielding the skin for harmful rays of the sun. These products allow you to have soft skin that is free from skin dryness. A notable member of this group is the nail polish, which is specifically used for fingernails and toenails that aims to provide color and protection for them.
Hair care products are all those elements that aim to provide beautiful and strong hair. These are shampoo, conditioner, hair wax, hair shine, styling gels, and mousse to name a few. These products are not required to be used on a daily basis because they may have harmful effects on the hair but they are suggested to be used on a regular basis to maintain beautiful hair.
